The Teleskope platform sends automated bulk emails to users when content is
published—such as **events, newsletters, announcements, and direct**
**messages**. These emails are delivered to all users within the selected scope
(e.g., group members), and typically appear identical to each recipient.

To **ensure high deliverability** and avoid spam filtering or visibility issues like the
“External Email” warning, customers must configure their email systems to
recognize Teleskope emails as trusted.

# Why Allowlisting Teleskope Email is Important

Without proper allowlisting:

- Emails may be **flagged as spam** or not delivered at all.
- Users may see '**External Email**' banners or warnings, which reduces trust and
  open rates.

# Actions Required by Customers

To avoid the above issues and improve engagement, customers should:

## Allowlist Teleskope Sender

Add the following **Amazon SES IP addresses** to your allowlist to prevent spam filtering:

- 54.240.77.44
- 54.240.77.45
- 54.240.77.46
- 54.240.77.47

## Trust the From Email Domain

Teleskope sends emails from a **custom sender domain** based on the platform in use:

| Platform | Example From Email Address |
| ------------ | -------------------------------------------- |
| Affinities | noreply@{your-subdomain}.affinities.io |
| Talent Peak | noreply@{your-subdomain}.talentpeak.io |
| Office Raven | noreply@{your-subdomain}.officeraven.io |
| People Hero | noreply@{your-subdomain}.peoplehero.io |

Ensure your email security filters trust these domains and suppress the "**External Email**" tag for them.

# Advanced Integration Options

Some organizations have more stringent requirements. Teleskope supports **deeper integrations** to fully align with customer email security policies and branding.

## Option A: Use Subdomain with Customer Domain (DKIM)

- **Choose a Subdomain** that is available in your company's domain.
  - e.g., getengaged.yourcompany.com,
    teleskope.yourcompany.com, or any preferred subdomain.
- **Teleskope Creates SES Identity**
  - Teleskope will create an SES identity for the chosen subdomain.
- **DNS Configuration by Customer IT Team**
  - Teleskope provides **DKIM, MX**, and **verification **records.
  - Customer must publish these DNS records to validate domain ownership.
- **Mail Sending Details**
  - From Email: noreply@{chosen-subdomain}.{your-domain}.com
  - MAIL FROM domain: teleskope.{chosen-subdomain}.\{your-
    domain}.com (required by SES)
- **Benefits**
  - Full branding alignment
  - Improved deliverability
  - Eliminates "External Email" warnings

## Option B: Use Customer’s SMTP/Email Relay

- **Customer Provides SMTP Credentials**
  - SMTP hostname
  - Username and password
  - Authorized From email address
- **Teleskope Configures Platform to Send via Relay**
- **Sending IPs Will Change to:**
  - 3.225.110.6
  - 44.240.251.80
  - 54.148.185.221
  - 54.86.187.219
- **Use Case**
  - Preferred for organizations that require complete email routing control.
