Glossary
Series of three vertical dots following each communication in Draft or Published states. When clicked, it allows a group leader to have access to functions for the communication such as publishing, editing, or sending to a colleague for review.
The individual(s) who lead the program platform; they have permissions for the highest level of access, the Admin Panel, to configure all associated platform zones.
The area where the Admin configures options throughout all associated platform zones; examples include defining roles and permissions, managing the budget, and configuring group branding.

An individual designated in the Roles and Permissions section as a leader of a Chapter; this person has the ability to create, manage, and publish content and manage the budget associated with the specified Chapter.
A type of disclaimer that requires a User to acknowledge a statement by clicking a checkbox or typing in a specific string of text indicating their agreement to the statement.
The image file spanning the top of a group page.

Refers to a group leader's ability to create a draft of an announcement, event, newsletter, survey, or email. Set in the Admin Panel under Roles and Permissions.
A statement displayed within the platform alerting a user or group leader of limitiations, organizational rules, implied photo or video releases, etc. Does not require end user acknowledgment.
The area at the bottom of the zone with three columns containing links to Support, the Knowledge Base, and Teleskope TOS and Privacy Policy. Customized links can be added here.

A community of members within a defined zone. Groups provide a platform for interaction, collaboration, and shared experiences. They can have designated leaders and can be further segmented into chapters or channels.
A mechanism that displays a drop down on the home page of the platform to select from different categories of groups such as regions, organizational divisions, etc.
A group member who holds a leadership position within the group; group leaders have the capabilities to create, manage, and publish content depending on their role setup in Roles and Permissions.
The area at the topmost part of the zone containing links to the global calendar, a user's profile, the admin panel, and other customizeable links.
The zone a user first lands on upon login.
Refers to a group leader's ability to update, interact with, or otherwise change an announcement, event, newsletter, survey or email.
A self-contained unit within an application that provides a specific function or set of features. Modules are designed to be modular, allowing for easy integration, customization, and management.
Teleskope's office management platform.
Funds a group has acquired through means other than allocation, such as donations, fundraisers, or sponsorships.
Refers to a group leader's ability to push content such as announcements, events, newsletters, or surveys to the platform. Set in the Admin Panel under Roles and Permissions.
Geographical areas within an organization made up of smaller states, countries, etc.; i.e. Northeast, South, Midwest, West
In a survey, this is logic that will make a question required only if a specific answer on another question is chosen.
A group leader's position within the designated group. Defined in Roles and Permissions.
An opitional field that allows further role clarification; created from the Users menu and can be set by individual.
Refers to the population a communication will be directed to or a report will be created for. Scope types include the entire group, or specific Channel(s) or Chapter(s).
A URL for an announcement, event, newsletter or survey that takes a user directly to that communication's page.

A top-level organizational unit used to group multiple groups or communities within a larger system. Zones provide a framework for branding, customization, and differentiated functionality based on specific use cases. Each customer can establish multiple zones to cater to diverse needs.
