Microsoft Teams Integration
Affinities Teams Integration allows Events, Announcements, and Newsletters created in Affinities ERGs to be published on Teams Channels as notifications. Affinities can be integrated as a Bot Application.
Sign into your Microsoft account and Navigate to https://teams.microsoft.com/ OR you can login directly into your Microsoft Teams account. You can also sign-in from teams app.
Right click on a channel under your team on which you want to enable Teleskope Integration. From the Dropdown click on Workflows.
Next, You will need to select the option “Post to a channel when a webhook request is received” under Notify A Team heading.
If you don’t see that option then you can find it by typing in the search box “Post to a channel when a webhook request is received.”
Next, you’ll see a screen where you can set the name for the workflow. Click on the “Next” button after adding the name.
Next is dropdown selection for the channel you want this workflow to be added on. No need to make any change here so click on “Add Workflow”.
Once the workflow is added, you’ll get message that workflow added successfully and the URL that needs to be copied.
For this step, Login into the admin panel and navigate to the Groups > Manage Groups section
Click on Integration icon next to the group you want to add the integration link.

This is the page where you’ll see all integrations linked to the group. Click on the + icon to add integration.

On the resulting page:
- Select “Teams” from the dropdown.
- Add a name for integration.
- Checkmark where you want the integrations to work.
- Paste the URL we get from Microsoft Teams.
- Click Save

You’ll see the integration listed. Click on the unlock icon to activate this integration.
