Resources and Documents
For users and members, this tab allows them to view files, links, and folders that have been uploaded by Group Leaders. Users and members will not see the upload options.
The resources tab allows group leads to upload a file, create a link, or create a folder. This tab also allows users to download the already uploaded resources or access links. Note: Only .pdf,.xls, .xlsx,.ppt,.pptx .doc,.docx,.png,.jpeg,.jpg files are accepted
- Click on Upload File
- Enter the name of the resource
- Either drag and drop a file into the box, or click the box to browse for a file to be uploaded
- Add an optional description about the file
- Click Submit to complete the file upload
This option can be used if a user wants to upload files in bulk. Follow the same procedure as before, but select or drag/drop multiple files to upload.
- Click on New Link
- Enter the link name
- Add in the link URL
- Add an optional link description
- Click Submit to add the link
This option can be used if a user wants to create a folder under resources. It is also useful for controlling the scope of the folder, whether at the group level, chapter level, or channel level.
To create a new folder, click ‘New Folder’ (which opens the Create Folder Window). Then, set the scope from the scope dropdown, enter a name and description for the folder, and click submit to create the folder. The screenshot below shows the Create New folder window and the Scope dropdown.
- Click New Folder
- Name the folder
- Enter an optional folder description
- Click Submit
- Enable/disable Resources module
