Zone Branding
The submenus under zone branding allows platform admins to Manage branding and Manage Newsletter Templates.
This menu item on the admin panel allows platform admins to manage zone branding. When clicked it opens the following screen:
Each of the options available on this screen are explained below:
Please note that it takes 15 minutes for each of the following settings to take effect.
- Zone Tile Branding - This banner is useful when you have multiple zones and you want to configure a separate zone landing page before the homepage, to give the user to choose a zone before getting to the homepage. Please contact the Teleskope team in case you want to get this configured. The image will be shown on the zone landing page as the zone tile image, Zone tile heading and Sub heading text entered here will overlay on top of the image on the landing page.
- Web Banner - This is the Home screen banner that is shown on the Affinities Home. The specifications for a web banner is Size- 1920px x 188px , Format- .png, .jpg, .jpeg , Click on the ‘Remove Image’ button to delete the existing banner. Click the ‘Change Image’ button to change the existing image.
- Web Banner Title - Any text entered here will be overlaid on top of the web banner. Click on the notepad with a pen icon to edit/delete the text. In case left blank will not show any text over the web banner.
- Web Banner Subtitle - Any text entered here will be overlaid on top of the web banner and will appear as a subtitle place below the Web Banner Title. Click on the notepad with a pen icon to edit/delete the text. If this is left blank it will not show any subtitle text over the web banner.
- Calendar Page Banner Title - Text entered here appears as the title over the Calendar Page banner. Click on the notepad with a pen icon to edit/delete the text.
- Admin Content Page Title - Text entered here appears as the title on the Admin Content page. By default the text is set to ‘Admin Content.’ Click on the notepad with a pen icon to edit/delete the text.
- Group Landing Page - This setting can be used to set the default landing page on the ERG home. In order to select the landing page, click on the notepad with a pen icon. This will show the dropdown from where the default landing page can be selected. Once selected, click the update button to set the landing page for the ERG home. When a user clicks on the ERG tile on the home page they will be directed to the tab selected here by default.
- Group Overlay Color - This setting when enabled overlays the groups primary colors over the tiles on the affinities home. The primary color for each group can be changed by going to the ‘Manage ERG’ menu on the admin panel and editing the erg. To enable group overlay color, check the checkbox.
- Manage Hot Links - Hot links can be added to the web banner or the header menu on the affinities home using this option. See the screenshot below:
To add a Hot link click the plus sign, this will open the ‘New Hot Link’ window.
- Enter the Title of the desired hot link in the Title field.
- Enter Alternate Name in case required.
- Click ‘Choose file’ button to select a cover image for the hot links.
- The image size has to be 50px by 50px and will be placed as a hot link on the affinities home.
- Select the link type as ‘External Link’ in case you want the hot link to be a hyperlink for an external link, or
- Check the ‘Attachment’ option and browse for a file.
- This will add a link for the file on the affinities home as a hot link.
Once the link is added to the Mange Hot links list, select the Banner/Header radio buttons to select the placement of the hot links.
- Manage Footer Links - Footer links can be used to add hyperlinks at the bottom of affinities platform. The following screenshot shows how the footer links appear at the bottom:
The following screenshot shows the ‘Manage Footer Links’ option available on the admin panel.
To add a footer link click on the plus icon, this will open the following ‘Add footer link window’
- Enter the Title of the footer link.
- Use the link section dropdown to select the right/middle/left placement of the footer link.
- Use the link type dropdown to select either external link or attachment and accordingly enter the external link or browse for an attachment.
- Click ‘Submit’ button to add the footer link.
- Once the link has been added to the list, click on the lock icon under the action column to activate the footer link.
- Once activated, the footer link has to be deactivated using the lock icon to enable its editing or deletion.
- Use the notepad with a pen icon to edit the footer link and bin icon to delete it.
This menu item on the admin panel can be used to add newsletter templates and email templates on the platform. Once added these templates are available as readymade templates to the group leads.
The following screenshot shows the ‘Manage Templates’ screen:
To add a template click on the ‘+ Create Template’ button, this will open the ‘New Template’ creation window as shown in the screenshot below:
- Enter the name of the template in the ‘Template Name’ field.
- Select the ‘Template Type’ from the dropdown (Newsletter or Communication) and use the content editor to design a template.
- The toolbar provides several ready-made text and image blocks that can be dropped into the designer to create the template.
- The following screenshot shows the various text and image blocks available in the toolbar:
- Once the template design is complete, click the ‘Save Draft Template’ button to save the template draft.
- The draft template will appear in the template list on the ‘Manage Template’ screen.
- Click on the ‘Activate’ button under the action column to activate the template.
- Once the template is activated, it will start showing to the group leads as an available template to create a newsletter or welcome email/Leave email communications.
- To edit the active template, deactivate it first and then click on the ‘Edit’ button to edit.
